This autonomous museum is part of the complex of the City of the Arts and Sciences. The Principe Felipe Science Museum is a building designed by the famous Spanish Architect Santiago Calatrava. It is made up of three floors, each of which have around 8 thousand square metres of exhibition space. Through different workshops, activities and interactive panels, the visitor is able to understand, in a fun way, the principals of science and technology and the way in which they manage to improve our quality of life.

Internet: www.cac.es Museum of the Fallas Artist The content of this museum is thematic. The ninots (puppets) that are “pardoned” by the Guild of Fallas Artists during the Fallas are exhibited. As well as the adults` and children’s fallas that the guild pardons, it is also possible to see the scale models of the official fallas and other more unusual ones like that of Gulliver (the children’s playground in the Turia gardens). The museum also includes an exhibition of festival photographs dating back to 1902, fallas costumes and an audiovisual exhibition that explains the process of creation of a falla.

This museum, inaugurated in 1954, is located in the palace of the Marquis of Dos Aguas. It holds an important collection of ceramics, with prehistoric, Greek, Roman and Arabic pieces. It does not lack contemporary works, either, such as those signed by Picasso. The centre’s collection also includes representative examples of the ceramic styles from areas such as Manises, Paterna and Alcora.

Its program of exhibitions centres on the investigation and promotion of contemporary artistic movements. The collection of this museum covers the periods from the artistic avant-garde of the 20th century and Abstract and Pop Art through to European Informalism and New Figuration. It has a permanent exhibition with the Julio González and Pinazo collections. It also organises temporary exhibitions, conferences, courses and workshops. Furthermore, in an underground room you can see a long section of Valencia's medieval city wall, destroyed more than a century ago, which was discovered during construction work on the building.

The Museum of the Patriarch
This museum contains very valuable works, among which are various canvasses by El Greco and the early Flemish painters. The museum is within the Patriarca architectural site, which was built in the 16th century and comprises the Corpus Christi Royal College, the seminary and the church. The different buildings and rooms are set around a large Renaissance cloister. The museum has a pictorial collection from the 16th and 17th centuries, as well as works by Juan de Juanes, El Greco and the early Flemish painters. Furthermore, you can see Ribalta's Last Supper on the church's main altar, as well as various Flemish tapestries in the La Comunión Chapel.

This museum, created in 1761, is set in the Santo Cáliz Chapel of Valencia’s Cathedral. It has two large canvasses by Goya, painted in 1799, in which San Francisco de Borja is depicted. It also has 15th and 16th-century paintings, with works by Rodrigo de Osona, Yáñez de la Almedina, Vicente Masip and Juan de Juanes. Amongst the sculptures on display, original pieces from the 14th-century Gothic, Los Apóstoles door, and the Christ of the Good Death by Alonso Cano all stand out. Furthermore, visitors can view the processional monstrance and other items in precious metals, such as chalices and reliquaries from the 14th and 15th centuries.

The Valencia Museum of Fine Art occupies a 17th Century baroque building. Its gallery is mainly filled with works by Valencian artists, among which are Vicente López, Juan de Joanes, los Ribalta, Pinazo and Joaquín Sorolla. There are also paintings by Andrea del Sarto, Van Dyke, Murillo, Velázquez and Goya. Furthermore, there is an interesting collection of contemporary art and several valuable archaeological remains such as the “Lion of Bocairent” or the Paleo-Christian sarcophagus of San Vicente Mártir.

It exhibits the collection made up of all the figures that have been pardoned from flames by popular vote since 1934. Also on display are advertising posters from the Fallas and photographs on Fallas themes. The visit to the museum is completed by a video that explains the festival of the Fallas.
