The restaurant Fábrica 23 in Santa Catalina has a nice atmosphere and food that will please even the most demanding palates. This perfect combination is the fruit of the labour of two brothers: Sascha and Alexei, who opened the restaurant 9 years ago. Chef Alexei creates imaginative dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients while Sascha, “the personality of Fábrica 23”, who grew up in both England and Spain, welcomes guests in the Mallorcan dialect as well as in Spanish, German and English. There is a set lunch menu and at night diners can choose from the menu written on the board.

Located in a century old neoclassical building, this restaurant is one of Palma’s most well-known and elegant, and serves Mediterranean and international food. The menu is very diverse and changes over the course of the year. The food is normally seasonal but the rice dishes and paellas are a permanent fixture. The restaurant has several dishes worthy of mention, but the fresh seasonal cream, the fresh boneless fish, the warm duck liver and the restaurant’s special pie are exceptional.
