Located toward the north of the city, Güell Park is situated in the district of Gracia. Given its magnificence and its significance for Barcelona, UNESCO declared it monument of universal character in 1984. Connected to the Collserola mountain range, this park unites the forest with the city. It was first opened to the general public in 1978 and continues to splendidly conserve its vegetative species; some of which date back centuries.
