Panchakarma ("purification") treatment is the main merit of Ayurveda. In our Panckakarma program we do all the real Keraleeya panchakarma treatments including a personalised dosha diet.

• Duration: a full course it will take 14–28 days.
• Objective: to expel all the toxic imbalances from the body and regain resistance and health
• Methodology: As the channels are cleansed and strengthened by this process, the chance of recurrence of a disease is nil. According to modern terms, most of the toxins accumulated in the body are fat-soluble. The different ghees and purified sesame or castor oils used in this therapy have the capacity to dissolve the lipid soluble toxins. Then it brings to the alimentary tract. Once it is there we can elimintate it by apt purification procedures.

The 'Pancha karma therapy' is implemented in five ways:

1. Virechananam: Indicated mainly for pitta imbalances. Virechana is inducing controlled diarrhoea, which removes imbalanced pitta dosha from the body accumulated in the liver and gallbladder. It is a complete detox program of the alimentary tract. It is mainly done for Digestion problems like constipation, Ulcers, skin conditions like Psoriasis, Dermatitis, Arthritis, Diseases of the Nervous system like Stroke, Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, Sciatica, Spondylosis etc.
2. Vamanam: Indicated for Kapha imbalances, Bronchial or cardiac asthma, Bronchitis, Psoriasis, Dermatitis, allergies, Respiratory and skin conditions. It is also indicated for other dosha imbalances with different herbal combinations
3. Nasyam: It is the cleaning procedure for the upper respiratory tract. Oils (purified nearly 101 times) will be administered through each nostril after a herbal steam application. Very effective for all the diseases above the neck like Acne, Rosacea, Bells palcy, Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, migraines, Headaches of different etiology, Cervical spondylosis, Allergies, DNS, Frozen shoulder, premature falling &greying of hair
4. & 5. Snehavashi & Kashaya Vasthi: medicated enemas through the rectum with oils or ghees and Herbal decoctions. It is indicated for vatha imbalances. But is good for pitta and kapha imbalances with different herbal combinations. No ayurvedic treatments will be complete with out Vasthis.Depending on the health condition and dosha imbalance, different form of ghees or purified oils and herbal decoctions are used for this colon cleansing procedure. Effective for constipation, Irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, lower back pain, Disc prolapse, Sciatica, Arthritis, Liver & spleen  disorders, piles & fistula etc. 

Different stages of treatment:

1. First stage: There are 2 procedures, first one is Snehapanam (Oleation). This includes the external and internal application oils. External it is by different oil therapies like Pizhichil, Abhyangam, Elakkizhi, Podikkizhi etc. Internal it is by Medicated ghees. We have nearly 150 different types of ghees, which we import from India. The ghees is form of purified butter which is processed with different herbs. This has to be taken on an empty stomach in the early morning before breakfast from 5 to 14 days depending on the health condition. This is followed with Swedanam (fomentation or sudation) by different steam/herbal baths. By this the unbalanced doshas lodged in the weak parts of the channels are liquefied and loosened. 
2. Second or main stage: In this stage the loosened and liquefied doshas are expelled out of the body by the appropriate purifactory procedure.
3. Third stage: This includes the regimens to be practised after the purification. This is mainly intended to augment the digestive fire. It is advisable twice in a year during spring and autumn to undergo panchakarma therapy for 14 - 28 days. Panchakarma is recommended for healthy persons too, even with out any external symptoms.
